For a standard qualifying engagement, one straightforward budget covers the speaking engagement and normal travel-related expenses.

Complimentary opportunities are intentionally limited. This allows William to continue supporting selected educational and community programs while maintaining his professional studio and client schedule. Virtual, local and practical driving-distance opportunities are preferred. Significant travel, lodging, multiple travel days or major production requirements may move a request into the paid or custom category.

What the $5,000 rate covers

The all-inclusive rate applies to one standard qualifying engagement within the continental United States. Standard travel, lodging, ground transportation and meals are included.

When a custom quote applies

  • International travel, Alaska or Hawaii
  • Multi-day events or extended stays
  • Multiple presentations, campuses or locations
  • Extensive curriculum or content development
  • Significant equipment or production requirements
  • Additional recording, licensing or reuse rights

Professional organization context

Programs may be appropriate for AES and Recording Academy-related educational or professional settings. William’s memberships and participation do not imply organizational endorsement or sponsorship.

Recording and reuse

Recording, livestreaming, redistribution or commercial reuse of presentation content must be discussed as part of the engagement agreement. The speaking fee does not automatically grant perpetual rights to William’s presentation, slides, curriculum or educational material.

William intentionally reserves selected opportunities for giving back—while maintaining a professional fee structure for funded institutions and commercial events.
